Children

We provide a safe place for your preschool children while you are at Discovery.  Please take your little ones to the children’s area while you are here.  Loving teachers have planned special activities for them to enjoy.  Their classes will be meeting from 9:15 until 11:30 each Wednesday that we have Discovery.

Because we are concerned about their safety, 

children are not allowed in the adult classes. 

Please drop them off on your way to coffee and tea time.  Make sure all of their things are labeled.  Snacks are provided.

We will be using a security tag system to see that each child goes home with the right person.  Your child will be given a numbered name tag sticker each week.  You will be given a numbered card to give to the teacher when you return for your child.  It can be confusing with so many new names and faces!  

This system will help the teachers keep everything straight.

The children’s area is for your convenience and peace of mind.  We want you to feel free to ask questions if you do not understand something about our program.  We plan to provide enrichment for your child and an opportunity to meet and play with children of other families and nationalities.

Discovery children’s workers cannot medicate your child.  All medications must be administered by the child’s parent.  The chance of spreading disease is minimized if you keep your child at home when he or she is ill.  A sick child will not want to he held or kept by a stranger.

Due to liability restrictions, your child may be left in our care only when you are participating in on-campus Discovery activities.  

Please do not bring any other children except your own.

We want your children to enjoy Discovery as much as you do.  Thank you for placing your trust in us to care for them each week.
